Discover new holiday cookie recipes and share your old favorites! Bring in your favorite cookie recipe(s), chat with others, and we'll send out a compilation of all the recipes via email! If you can't make it in person, email us your recipe and we'll make sure to include it and send you the full compilation!

Edward R. Martin served the youth of East Providence for over 40 years. A lifelong resident of the city, he graduated from East Providence Senior High School in 1931. Following his graduation from Providence College in 1935, he returned to the high school as a chemistry teacher, eventually becoming the science department chair. After earning his master's degree from Rhode Island College in 1949, he went on to become the principal of Riverside Junior High School, where he stayed until 1951. Martin later became the Superintendent of East Providence's School Department, and remained in that position until his retirement in 1979. During that same year, East Providence's new middle school was named in his honor. Martin passed away in 1997 at the age of 83.
