Preschool Learning Activities

Monday, May 23, at 10:30am at Fuller

Drop by Fuller Monday mornings for themed learning activities. Children can explore a variety of centers such as: sensory exploration, numbers, letters, fine motor, pretend play and more. This week's theme is Everyday Superheros. Let's celebrate all the helpers in our community--bus drivers, trash collectors, letter carriers, police and firefighters. No registration required.


Outdoor Preschool/Toddler Story & Play

Tuesdays at 10:30am, on the Weaver Lawn

Join us for an interactive learning opportunity where young children enjoy a story, rhymes, songs, and play. Bundle up because this program is outside. Registration is not required, and this program will be cancelled in the event of bad weather. We will announce cancellations on our Events Calendar.


Stop Motion Animation

Wednesday, May 25, at 3:30pm at Fuller

Children ages 7+ may create their own short film using the Stop Motion app! Kids may work in teams using the library's iPads or may bring their own device. Registration required.


Infant/Toddler Playgroup

Relax and connect with other families. Siblings are welcome as well. We may venture outside for fresh air, sidewalk chalk, and outdoor fun, weather permitting. Registration required.

STEM for Kids

Come join us as we explore how things work! Every week we will tackle a different experiment including paper airplanes, catapults vs fortresses, and (weather permitting) solar ovens. Children must be 8+ to register.

Enjoy free coffee and refreshments at each branch of the East Providence Library on Monday mornings. Connect with others and make new friends. Children's activities and supervision will be provided. Sharon, Fuller's resident sewing expert, will guide you in creating your own table runner. Choose your favorite pattern from three options. Supply lists will be available before the class begins. Registration required.

End-of-Life Planning

The only certainties in life are death and taxes and since tax season was last month, now is as good a time as any to discuss the other. The Funeral Consumers Alliance of RI educate consumers, provide state-wide price information, and supply resources and encouragement for preplanning. You have more choices than you think. Shows are weather permitting and take place at Rose Larisa Memorial Park located at 701 Bullocks Point Avenue in Riverside. Concerts are held on Thursday evenings from June 2 – July 28 and start at 6:00 PM, unless otherwise noted.
